Busy Weekend!

Last weekend Dana and I were the social butterflies. Sorry it has taken me so long to post. As you read above I was occupied with getting my classroom ready. On the morning of Saturday, Aug. 15 Dana and I were up at the crack of dawn for our second round of insemination. We are now in the two week wait mode, again. Then we were off to the Rainforest Cafe to meet Dana's niece Erica. She had just finished Marine Boot Camp and was home for ten days. Erica is now furthering her training at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. I can't wait to have my class write her letters.

After lunch with Erica we went home to get ready for our friend Larry's 50th birthday party. It was a great time. It was catered by L&L Hawaiian BBQ since it was a Hawaiian style party. The best part was getting laid oops I mean leid upon arrival.

There was no time for sleeping in Sunday morning. Once again we were up early cleaning the house and doing laundry. That afternoon we were off to my grandmother's house to visit my niece Brianna who was visiting from New Jersey. We went out to lunch and learned her hometown is boring and the weather is awful.

Brianna who longs to be back in sunny SO. CAL.

Last but not least, we ended the day with a BBQ at Dana's sister's house for his niece Sydney who is now living the college life. She was excited to be going to school and impressed that the women's hockey team had purchased her 10 goalie sticks. It was a fun but exhausting weekend.
