About a week ago I discovered the wonders of Facebook. My friend, Rena, from our childhood days had tracked me down. I couldn't believe it; not that I'm hiding out or anything of the sort. We were so excited to reconnect that we immediately made plans to have lunch. On Wednesday, I drove to Redondo Beach were she is living with her husband. They are expecting their first baby, a boy, in December. We had lunch at a local hang out called Rockin' Fish. The food was great but catching up on each others lives was even better. It was hard to leave because we still had more catching up to do. After all it had been at least 15 years since we last talked or seen each other. We promised that we would have lunch again soon and now that we're connected through Facebook it will be easier to keep in touch.
Isn't Facebook neat? I joined not too long ago and I really have enjoyed getting back in touch with old friends.
