Today Dana and I were out and about when we decided to stop by the Kaiser Regional Offices in Pasadena. We were told by Nurse Marlene that Nurse Vicki had been recognized for her outstanding service for over 30 years. Nurse Vicki is the one who drew the picture of the lion and placed it on Ryan's isolette. The picture gave Ryan his nickname. You can view Ryan's lion picture in the sidebar. So we got to the regional offices and signed in at the security check point. We then proceeded to explain why we were there and what we were looking for. Without hesitation the security officer explained where we could find the poster of Nurse Vicki. Dana and I headed down the hall and around the corner armed with our camera. There in the hall we found the poster of Nurse Vicki and Ryan's story. It's amazing that his story is all over the place and is touching the lives of so many people. I am so delighted that Vicki got the recognition she deserves for her thoughtfulness. It makes us so proud that our little angel had a hand in it.

I tried and tried to make the pict. bigger when you click on it but I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I hope you can read it. If you click on the picture of Nurse Vicki it will become bigger.

What an honor for Nurse Vicki and to have Ryan included in this honor. Amazing how many lives Ryan has touched.
