Hello Studs!

Bye Bye Ugly Pink Bathroom, Hello Studs.  So long peeling and cracked paint that seeped smoke from previous owners. Good riddance,waiting for a fire to start, wall heater.  Farewell to the screwed up tape joints and pink floral boarder.  Summer Project # 2 is well underway.  My husband spent last night tearing down the drywall, tile and flooring.  We are still in the process of getting estimates for tile in the shower and on the floor.  By the end of this weekend we should know who we are going to go with.  We've already picked out the tile, vanity, and vanity top we want to use.  It will be worth it when it's all done.  We've waited so long to do this.  In the past our money was always tied up in fertility treatments so we were unable to do this sort of stuff.  My husband and I made a deal that we each get to design our own bathroom.  This bathroom is his design.  My bathroom will be next.  He gets the bigger bathroom because he thinks he has a better eye for design and color.  Truth be told he does have a good eye.  It tends to be on the neutral side but it works.  My bathroom will be next.  He just informed me that it will be my bathroom under his supervision.  We'll see about that.  This is not a design on a dime project but we are trying to stay within our budget.

P.S. I have so much time to read because I'm always sitting around waiting for a crew of workers or someone to give me an estimate.  ;-)
