Now that Summer is here I have more time to read. Here's what I've been reading.
Currently Reading: O me of little faith by Jason Boyett
This book is for the doubtful Christian or anyone who has ever questioned the existence of God. I have asked many of the questions presented in this book on my journey to becoming a Christian.
Recently Finished: Plan B by Pete Wilson, The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid by Bill Bryson, and Sh*t My Dad Says by Justin Halpern
Excellent book! I highly recommend this book for anyone going through their own personal hell. It doesn't give answers because most of the time there are no answers. Pete Wilson does a fantastic job of offering understanding and encouragement. I have already given a couple of my friends copies. Definitely worth rereading.
Somewhat funny book. Offers insight into what it was like growing up in the 1950's.

This book is hilarious if you don't mind a few cuss words. O.K. let me rephrase that, a ton of cuss words. It had me laughing from the first to the last page. It's a quick read.

Ah! You got a Nook! You lucky girl! I am still begging my hubby for a Kindle! I hope he'll give in now that they have dropped the price! :)
ReplyDeleteGASP!!! Mitch Albom has a new book!!! AHHHH im a read a holic and I did not know this...guess I was too caught up in all my twilight and sookie stackhouse jazz
ReplyDeleteHey Brittany, I noticed the Kindle was $189 and the Nook is now $199. I would compare them both. You can try out a Nook at any Barnes and Noble store. If you got a Nook we could share books. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI just got a Kindle!!! I didn't even know about the Nook, but it looks just as cool. I love A Grace Disguised by Jerry Sitser for loss and grief. I also like The 5 Love Languages- a great book. I'm finding my Kindle to be an expensive little habit! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI have kindle on my iPod touch..I love that you can share your books from the nook. I'm reading my way through the summer as well.
