Top Ten Questions My 3rd Graders Asked On the First Day of School

  1. Is it recess time yet?
  2. How much longer till recess?
  3. Is it lunch time?
  4. What time do we eat lunch?
  5. Can I call my mom because I forgot my lunch?
  6. Can I go to the bathroom?
  7. Can I get a drink of water?
  8. Do we have homework tonight?
  9. Will we have homework every night?
  10. Is it time to go home?
Today was a great day. My class seems to be talkative but very nice. I'm looking forward to a fantastic year.

    Lisa, Your top 10 list is very similar to my 8th graders except they ask why they have to study history instead of the questions about recess.
